Life Board — Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 23, 2026 · Last updated: August 6, 2026

The short version

Life Board is a personal, single-user app. It has no accounts, no login, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. We (VibeNexus, the developer of Life Board) do not operate any server that receives your data, and we never see, collect, sell, or share the information you put into the app.

Your data lives in two places, both of which you control:

  1. On your device, in the app's private storage.
  2. In your own private iCloud (only if iCloud is enabled on your device), used for automatic backups so you don't lose your data if the app's local storage is damaged, you reinstall the app, or you switch iPhones.

iCloud storage is provided and secured by Apple under your Apple ID. The developer has no access to your iCloud account or its contents.

What data the app stores

Everything you choose to enter: the movies, TV shows, anime, books, articles, recipes, workouts, job applications, to-dos, subscriptions, custom categories, notes, ratings, images you attach, and related settings. This is stored locally and, for backups, in your private iCloud. None of it is transmitted to the developer.

Information sent to third parties (only when you ask for it)

Some optional, user-initiated features look up information from public third-party services. When you use one of these features, the app sends only the search term or the web address you provide — never your identity, your library, or any device identifier — so the service can return a result:

Feature you triggerService contactedWhat is sent
Movie / TV title search & auto-fillApple iTunes Search APIThe title you type
Anime search & auto-fillAniList APIThe title you type
Book search & auto-fillOpen Library APIThe title, author, or ISBN you provide
Article metadata auto-fillThe website at the URL you pasteA request to that URL
Recipe importThe website at the URL you pasteA request to that URL

These requests are handled by the respective third parties under their own privacy policies. The developer does not receive, log, or store any of this activity. If you never use these search/import features, the app makes no such outbound requests.

Device permissions

Workout records

The app does not connect to Apple Health and does not read or write any HealthKit data. Workouts you log are never used for advertising or marketing, are never sold, and are never shared with any third party or transmitted to the developer. Workout records stay on your device only: they are deliberately excluded from the app's automatic iCloud snapshots. They are included in a backup file only when you explicitly create a manual export yourself, and that file goes only where you choose to put it.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

None. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and do not ask to track you.

Children's privacy

Life Board does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. It requires no account and transmits no personal data to the developer.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data is stored only on your device and in your own iCloud, you control retention. Deleting an item moves it to an in-app Trash for 30 days, then it is purged. Deleting an entire custom category (after an explicit warning) removes that category's items immediately. Deleting the app removes its on-device data; your iCloud backups can be removed from your device's iCloud settings. You can export a copy of your records at any time from the in-app Backup & Restore screen.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change, and the current version will always be available at this URL.
